Opposing the role and position of colloid and crystalloid solutions in infusion therapy and low awareness of the composition and properties of various solutions among doctors including intensivists have been causing significant problems in the administration of infusion therapy originating from inadequate interpretation of the concepts of volume and liquid substitution for decades. </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Исход оперативного вмешательства, риск развития послеоперационных осложнений во многом зависят от адекватной стратегии периоперационной инфузионной терапии.
